Cedar Box Experience

The Cedar Box Experience is an interactive educational resource which draws from the Tend, Gather and Grow Teaching Toolkit, the Cedar Box Toolkit, and the Swinomish 13 Moons Curriculum. The goal of this website is that this experience helps deepen peoples’ curiosity, knowledge, and love for native plants, animals, ecosystems, seasonal teachings, and the culture of Coast Salish People. Play games, watch videos, listen to stories, and explore the sights and sounds of cultural ecosystems as you learn about plants and foods of the Pacific Northwest region. When people build relationships with the land, they are more likely to care for it, and they feel a stronger sense of belonging.
