Toasted Sister Podcast
Putting Indigenous culinary stories into the podcast universe and into your ear holes. The Toasted Sister Podcast is a show about Indigenous food. It was created by Andi Murphy (Diné) in 2017 and has since won a couple of awards and accolades including 1st place for the 2021 and 2022 National Native Media Awards for podcast general excellence and a Saveur 100. Murphy is a long-time multimedia food journalist, focusing mainly on Indigenous food, also working full time as the senior producer of Native America Calling, a national live radio show where she established The Menu as a monthly feature. The Menu is the only live, one-hour show about Indigenous food news and stories.
