Slow Food in Canada – Sc’win (The Okanogan Sockeye)
For thousands of years the Syilx peoples have stood strong in recognition of their responsibilities to uphold their traditional laws and values and exercising their Title and Rights to their lands and resources. These principles require the Okanagan Nation to be steadfast in their resolve to work collaboratively with all Governments, ensuring that any processes and any policies regulating our lands, resources and peoples are informed by our Peoples and our Traditional Knowldge in a meaningful way.
