Food Sovereignty: A Guide for Indigenous Youth

In 2020, the Legacy of Hope Foundation (LHF)
developed a plan for the creation of a new
food sovereignty project that would be led
by Indigenous youth. This project grew out of
the mandate of the LHF to promote healing
and rejuvenation of Indigenous communities
harmed by the impacts of Residential and Day
Schools, the Sixties Scoop, and other colonial
policies.

The Legacy of Hope Foundation (LHF) is a national, Indigenous-led, charitable organization that has been working to promote healing and Reconciliation in Canada for more than 20 years.
